What are the causes of infant eczema

Infantile eczema, known in Chinese medicine as tinea cruris, occurs mostly in nursing children and is a genetic condition caused by allergies to a variety of substances. It often develops about one month after birth and is mainly on the face and neck, especially on the cheeks. It starts as an erythematous, pinhead-sized papule and can later fuse into a larger edematous lesion with papules, pustules, blisters, small vesicles, moist, oozing skin. The scabs may form scabs of different sizes, and after the scabs fall off, the vesicles or erythematous patches leak out and gradually improve later. Infant eczema is related to a variety of factors, sometimes difficult to specify. The four common causes are as follows: 1. Genetic factors Eczema has a lot to do with genetics. If one of the two parents has suffered from allergic diseases or has had eczema, then the possibility of your little one getting eczema is high. 2, food factors For milk or other food allergies, milk (including milk formula) contains a large number of foreign proteins, is very easy to cause allergies, is the culprit to get baby eczema; if the mother consumes eggs, fish, shrimp, crab, chocolate, fructose, etc. may cause baby allergies, the key to eradicate baby eczema is to clarify the substances that cause allergies. 3, environmental factors Environmental factors may also cause eczema, woolen fabrics, artificial fiber clothing, pollen, mites, sweat, urine, dry air, etc. may cause eczema. 4, mental factors Emotional factors can also affect the baby and eczema, mental tension will make eczema aggravated. Infant eczema care: 1, avoid local irritation, without hot water, soap wash, without irritating topical drugs. 2, the child dress, diapers should be soft, cotton fabrics are best. 3, the diet should be light and nutritious, do not eat food that can cause allergies, you can go to our department to do food intolerance testing. 4.Prevent the inhalation of dust and pollen in the house. 5.When the skin lesions are not healed, avoid colds and various vaccinations. 6.Mothers should bathe their babies often and let them have less contact with fiber clothing, and pay attention to their babies’ diet.
