Life expectancy for breast cancer 4c

4c is the result of imaging based on BI-RADS grading, and may be malignant in about 50%-94%, with five-year survival rates ranging from 25%-90% if malignant, and having no effect on life expectancy if benign.
Patients with 4c who are pathologically confirmed to be malignant will need to undergo a combination of treatments mainly surgical. The prognosis of breast cancer is related to the stage of development of the disease. If distant metastasis has already occurred, the 5-year survival rate is only 24.7% according to the statistics of the International Cancer Organization. If the stage is earlier, the prognosis is relatively good, and the 5-year survival rate can reach 80%-90%.
If patients with 4c are pathologically confirmed to be benign, they can follow the doctor’s instructions for regular checkups after lumpectomy, which will not affect their life expectancy.
It is recommended that patients go to a regular hospital in time and receive treatment as prescribed by the doctor to avoid delaying their condition.
