Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Shui, composed of Atractylodes macrocephala, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Phellodendron Bidentatae (made of ginger), Angelica dahurica, Poria, Poria cocos, Picroselinum Terrestris, and Semen Armeniacae. It has the effect of relieving the surface and resolving dampness (relieving the evil of external infection and getting rid of dampness in the body), regulating qi and harmonizing the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach, so as to make the functions of the spleen and stomach smooth). Pohoi Xiang Zheng Qi Shui is used for colds and flu caused by external wind-cold, internal dampness and stagnation or summer dampness, with headache and heaviness, chest and diaphragm stuffiness, distension and pain in the epigastric region, vomiting and diarrhea; gastrointestinal colds and flu with the above symptoms. Adverse reactions: may cause nausea, vomiting, rash, itching, dizziness, flushing, palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic).
