What to do about passive bending hand numbness in ulnar humerus fracture?

Fracture of ulnar humerus passive bending hand numbness, mostly considered ulnar nerve injury caused by physical therapy, drug therapy, surgery and other treatments. If the numbness is caused by local soft tissue swelling and compression of ulnar nerve at elbow, the elbow should be braked, fixed with plaster or brace, local hot and cold alternating external compresses, and oral anti-swelling medication (Diosmin tablets), and the numbness can be relieved after the swelling is reduced. If the swelling continues to aggravate, or even osteofascial compartment syndrome occurs, surgery should be performed. Fracture causing nerve contusion, entrapment or dissection, resulting in hand numbness, can be preceded by upper limb electromyography, color ultrasound examination. For simple contusion, nutritive nerve medication (methylcobalamin tablets) can be taken orally for observation. If the nerve is compressed or severed, early surgical exploration is needed to release the compressed nerve or repair the nerve, and nutritive nerve medication is given after surgery. If hand numbness occurs with passive bending of ulnar humerus fracture, it is recommended to actively consult the doctor for treatment under the guidance of physician.
