Source: Poria is the dried fungus Poria cocos; Poria is the white part of the fungus Poria cocos with pine roots in the middle of the fungus Poria cocos. 2. Efficacy: Poria efficacy is diuresis and elimination of edema (to facilitate urination and eliminate edema), strengthening the spleen, seepage of dampness, nourishing the heart, clinically used in the treatment of edema, phlegm (pathological products formed by impaired metabolism of water and fluid), palpitations (heartbeat accelerated, often accompanied by panic), diarrhea due to deficiency of spleen (diarrhea resulting from the weakening of spleen function), insomnia, and so on.
