Methods of corrective training for strabismus and amblyopia

Strabismus and amblyopia are two different disorders that are treated differently, but they are related in that strabismus can potentially cause amblyopia. Strabismus can be treated with surgery or glasses, while amblyopia can be treated with masking therapy as well as weak training to improve vision.
Strabismus can be treated according to the cause. For accommodative strabismus caused by refractive error, glasses are needed to correct the refractive error, so that the eye position can be balanced and vision can be improved. For non-adjustable strabismus caused by developmental anomalies, patients need to be treated with strabismus surgery to balance the eye position and improve the appearance.
The primary treatment for amblyopia is masking therapy, which stimulates the development of the amblyopic eye by masking the dominant eye. Patients also need amblyopia training, such as tracing books and stringing beads, to improve vision.
Patients with strabismus and amblyopia are advised to seek timely hospitalization to evaluate their condition and follow medical advice.
