How to treat liver and biliary tumors

Hepatobiliary tumors are more malignant, and the treatment is more tricky and the effect is very bad. Hepatobiliary tumors are divided into surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment. Non-surgical treatment mainly includes interventional therapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, biological therapy, targeted therapy and other treatment modalities. Of course, the results of MDT discussion are also needed to achieve the most ideal treatment. Radical surgery is the most ideal treatment for hepatobiliary tumors, which generally involves resection of the lesion as well as clearance of the surrounding lymph nodes to achieve radical cure. Combined with post-operative chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatment, the most ideal outcome is achieved. However, regardless of the treatment modality, the prognosis of the tumor depends on the biological characteristics of the tumor.
