Reflux esophagitis with obstructive swallowing sensation should be treated with general therapy, medication or surgery to relieve symptoms. 1. General treatment: If patients with reflux esophagitis experience choking sensation, it is recommended to elevate the head of the bed to reduce the degree of reflux. Diet should be light and try to choose fluids or semi-fluids, such as rice porridge and rice paste, to avoid increasing the choking sensation. 2. Medication: Considering the obstruction caused by reflux esophagitis, you can take drugs to inhibit gastric acid, such as omeprazole and rabeprazole, as prescribed by the doctor. You can also take oral prokinetic drugs, such as domperidone, which can effectively reduce esophageal reflux. 3. Surgery: If the degree of obstruction of reflux esophagitis is more serious, surgery can be considered to relieve the obstruction. Those with malignant changes may require surgical resection, chemoradiotherapy and other treatments. Patients with reflux esophagitis who have difficulty in swallowing and obvious sense of obstruction should reduce the intake of acidic food in their diet so as not to increase the reaction of gastric acid. Further observation should be made during treatment, and if the symptoms are severe and cannot be improved, hospitalization should be chosen as much as possible.
