Oral milia are uncommon in clinical practice and are considered to be a high probability for Labyrinthine Lipidosis. Lipomatosis is a condition with no subjective symptoms that occurs when sebaceous glands are ectopic and promote the formation of sebaceous glands on the mucous membranes of the lips and cheeks. Patients tend to notice pinhead-sized, isolated, yellowish or whitish spherical elevations on the lip and cheek mucosa around the time of puberty, or flat papulopapular changes that are rough and generally asymptomatic. The histopathologic changes are a group of small, mature sebaceous gland lobules, which enclose sebaceous gland ducts that extend from the center of the gland to the surface of the mucosa. How do we treat seborrhea? Seborrhea does not usually cause any discomfort and therefore does not require any special treatment. This is because any treatment is harmful and may cause secondary bacterial infections or scarring. If the patient insists on treating the lesion, carbon dioxide laser treatment can be performed.
