Can New Coronavirus Affect Male Fertility

New coronavirus may affect male fertility, but there are no reports of infertility caused by new coronavirus, and infertility may not be detected immediately after infection. Because the new coronavirus is similar to SARS, and findings in SARS patients suggest that the virus may cross the barrier or cause testicular inflammation by stimulating an immune response, which can be most severe and cause azoospermia, the new coronavirus may affect fertility in male patients. In case of neoconjunctivitis, it is recommended to review semen in 3-6 months. If the damage is small and there are no clear symptoms of orchitis, fertility may not be seriously impaired.
