Chest pain is considered to be caused by chronic gastritis or gastric ulcer. Stomach disorders manifest as pain in the subxiphoid process and upper abdomen, sometimes of a milder nature and sometimes of a more intense nature, accompanied by upper gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention and acid reflux. A gastroscopy is required to make a definite diagnosis. If it is considered to be caused by chronic gastritis or gastric ulcer, symptomatic treatment with oral medications such as omeprazole or rabeprazole, and also oral magnesium aluminum carbonate can be taken to protect the gastric mucosa. It may also be a lesion of the gallbladder, commonly a gallbladder stone, combined with chronic inflammation of the gallbladder, the patient will have subxiphoid, epigastric, and right upper abdominal vague pain, swelling pain, etc., after eating fatty food, the pain may be aggravated. Ultrasound examination of the liver and gallbladder can be performed to find out whether there are stones inside the gallbladder and whether there is inflammation in the gallbladder wall. After the diagnosis is clear, laparoscopic cholecystectomy is needed.
