How to do with a pain in the temple

Patients with pain in the temples should first have their blood pressure measured, because many times when blood pressure fluctuates, it will show distension and throbbing pain in the temples. If it is determined to be caused by elevated blood pressure, the patient can take oral antihypertensive drugs to bring down the blood pressure to relieve the pain in the temples, either quick-acting antihypertensive drugs like nifedipine tablets or long-acting antihypertensive drugs such as levamlodipine besylate. If the patient’s blood pressure is not high and the temples are throbbing with pain, it is considered to be caused by neuropathic headache, the patient can take oral pain medication to relieve the headache, and can also improve the headache by means of acupuncture and massage. Patients with a history of migraine and severe pain can take oral zolmitriptan tablets to stop headache attacks.
