What not to eat with high blood potassium

Hyperkalemia can not eat some high potassium foods and some drugs, such as aspirin, spironolactone and other drugs application. 1. High-potassium foods: Avoid eating high potassium foods, such as banana, spinach, kelp, tomato, mushroom, orange, etc., as well as dried fruits, dried vegetables, roots and legumes with high potassium content, so as not to lead to the further increase of potassium level in the body. 2. Application of drugs: Patients with high blood potassium should avoid consuming drugs that reduce the excretion of potassium ions, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, celecoxib and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Drugs that can increase serum potassium concentration, such as non-selective β-blockers like propranolol and bisoprolol, and aldosterone antagonists like spironolactone and eplerenone, should also be avoided.
