Is cardiac function level 2 serious?

Cardiac function class II is generally not considered serious.
Cardiac function grade is divided into four levels, grading standards are mainly used with the American New York Heart Association (New York Heart Association, NYHA) cardiac function grading method, specific as follows:
1. Grade I: Patients with heart disease are not restricted from engaging in daily activities, and daily activities do not cause heart failure symptoms such as fatigue and dyspnea.
2. Grade II: patients with heart disease are mildly restricted in physical activities, have no symptoms when resting, and have heart failure symptoms such as dyspnea and fatigue caused by general activities.
3. Grade III: patients with heart disease have obvious limitations in physical activity, which is lower than the usual daily activities that cause dyspnea, fatigue and other heart failure symptoms.
4. Grade IV: Patients with heart disease cannot engage in any physical activity, and heart failure symptoms such as dyspnea and fatigue exist even at rest and worsen after activity.
Though not considered serious, grade 2 heart function still needs to go to the hospital, and the doctor will take into account the patient’s past history to formulate a relevant treatment plan.
