Etiology and relief of forced supine position

Compulsive lying on the back is a position in which the patient lies on his back with his legs flexed to relieve tension on the abdominal muscles in order to relieve the pain of the disease. It is commonly seen in acute peritonitis. Secondary peritonitis Acute perforation and rupture of intra-abdominal organs: the most common cause of acute secondary peritonitis. Perforation of cavernous organs often occurs suddenly due to progression of ulcerative or gangrenous lesions, e.g., acute appendicitis, peptic ulcer, acute cholecystitis, typhoid ulcer, gastric or colon cancer, ulcerative colitis, ulcerative intestinal tuberculosis, amebic bowel and diverticulitis. Early and appropriate treatment of intra-abdominal inflammatory diseases that may cause peritonitis is fundamental to the prevention of peritonitis. Any laparotomy, even laparotomy, should be performed strictly aseptically, and oral antibacterial drugs should be given before intestinal surgery to reduce the occurrence of peritonitis. Relief methods: 1. fasting, gastrointestinal decompression. 2, maintenance of water, electrolyte balance and nutrition: infusion, supplementation of potassium, sodium. Chlorine, if necessary, transfusion of whole blood, plasma or human albumin, such as treatment for a long time or poor general condition, perform total parenteral nutrition supplemented with amino acids and high sugar solution. 3, antibiotic application: aminobenzyl penicillin, gentamicin or chloramphenicol, chlorine lincomycin, metronidazole, etc. 4.Semi-recumbent position: pus can accumulate in the pelvis. 5.Close observation, record the amount of in and out, replenish the appropriate amount of electrolytes, and prevent various complications.
