How to give first aid to patients with critical acute poisoning

The first thing to do when giving first aid to a patient with critical acute poisoning is to call the 120 emergency telephone, report clearly where the patient is, the general condition of the patient, and send someone to pick up the ambulance after making the call, and don’t keep the phone busy because there will soon be a 120 emergency personnel to contact the telephone for help. If the patient is gas inhalation caused by poisoning, immediately move the patient away from the poisoned environment, move to a place with fresh air; if it is skin absorption caused by poisoning, quickly take off the clothes contaminated with poison, use water to thoroughly wash the contaminated skin, hair and nails; if it is oral poisoning, quickly let the patient to stop oral intake, and induce vomiting. If the patient is confused, vomiting, the patient’s head to one side, wipe away the vomit, to prevent the patient accidentally inhaled into the respiratory tract caused by aspiration pneumonia and asphyxiation; if the patient convulsions, pay attention not to let the patient bump bruises; if the patient’s heartbeat respiratory arrest, we must hurry to chest cardiac compression, and wait for the arrival of the emergency personnel. In the process of first aid, we must protect the first-aiders themselves to avoid poisoning.
