Symptoms of the SAM phenomenon

The most common symptoms of SAM phenomenon are dyspnea, arrhythmia, dizziness, and weakness, especially in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The most common cause of death in SAM is sudden death due to arrhythmia or heart failure due to prolonged duration. Vertigo can impair the patient’s balance perception, mutating the nervous system and involuntarily perceiving the environment and things around them as spinning. Weakness is a condition in which patients feel weak for no reason, their mental state becomes worse, their food intake gradually decreases, and the quality of sleep decreases. There will be accompanying conditions, the most common of which is chest pain.
