Costochondritis can usually be treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as diclofenac sodium extended-release tablets. Or antibacterial drugs may be used. Costochondritis is generally categorized into non-specific costochondritis and infectious costochondritis.
1. Non-specific costochondritis: If it is non-specific costochondritis, you can take oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as diclofenac sodium extended-release tablets, ibuprofen extended-release capsules and other anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of the drug as prescribed by the doctor. Allergic patients, patients with gastrointestinal diseases should not be used.
2. Infectious costochondritis: If it is infectious costochondritis, you can first choose conservative treatment, follow the doctor’s instructions to use antibacterial drugs to control the infection, such as amoxicillin, roxithromycin, etc., and at the same time take analgesics to relieve pain, such as ibuprofen extended-release capsules.
