It can be taken by patients with weak spleen and stomach if the indications of Si Mu Tang exist.
Si Mu Tang has the efficacy of smoothing qi and lowering rebelliousness, eliminating stagnation and relieving pain (eliminating stagnation and relieving pain), and is mainly used in the treatment of infants and young children with internal stagnation of breast milk and food, which is characterized by abdominal distension, abdominal pain, crying and uneasiness, diarrhea or constipation; middle-aged and old-aged patients with stagnation of qi and indigestion of food stagnant in the stomach, which is characterized by distension of the epigastric region, abdominal pain, and constipation; and the promotion of the restoration of the function of the stomach and intestines after abdominal surgery.
The adverse reactions of Si Mu Tang are not clear, it should be noted that pregnant women, intestinal obstruction, intestinal tumors, gastrointestinal tract after surgery patients are prohibited to use this product.
Therefore, patients with weak spleen and stomach do not belong to the contraindications of Si Mu Tang, and can take Si Mu Tang if they have the above indications.
