Frozen shoulder is an age-related degenerative condition that occurs mostly in the 50s. If not treated properly it can cause functional activity limitation of the shoulder joint, which can affect the ability to perform daily living. Therefore, if you have shoulder pain and limited movement, you should consult a doctor immediately, rather than wait until the condition is severe, which may delay the best time for treatment. Currently, the term “frozen shoulder” includes synovial bursitis (such as subacromial bursitis), glenohumeral bursitis (such as frozen shoulder), tendons and tendon sheaths (such as supraspinatus tendonitis, rotator cuff rupture, biceps longus tendon and its tenosynovitis, impingement syndrome, etc.) and other peri-articular pathologies (such as rostral synovitis, acromioclavicular joint pathology, etc.). There are four major categories of disorders. In the narrow sense, it refers to “frozen shoulder” or “fifty shoulder”. Depending on the type and the period of dysfunction, different physical factors are selected. If the shoulder pain is the only one, high frequency, medium frequency electrotherapy, laser, etc., and if there are shoulder adhesions, medium frequency, shock wave, joint release training, etc., can be given to the patient.
