Treatment of rheumatism in women

Female rheumatism can be treated with medication and surgery.
1. Drug treatment: glucocorticoid can have anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects, commonly used drugs are prednisone, dexamethasone and other drugs, but there are adverse reactions such as hypertension, osteoporosis, electrolyte disorders and so on. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen, can also be used, with anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. Be aware of the adverse reactions of the digestive system, and be careful with those who have gastric ulcers.
2. Surgery: When the joints are seriously damaged, surgery can be chosen as the treatment. The treatment includes synovectomy, which is suitable for patients with serious synovial damage. Or choose joint replacement, applicable to joint deformity or loss of function.
Female rheumatism patients are advised to go to the rheumatology and immunology department of regular hospitals for detailed consultation and treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
