How to use the new crown antigen self-test kit

The New Crown Antigen Self Test Kit involves the collection of nasal secretions and the addition of an extraction solution, which is read on the test card within a specified period of time. Before performing the test, you should first wash your hands, then pour the sample extract into the sample extraction tube and remove the test card and set it aside. The swab is then removed, avoiding touching the head of the swab, and the head is elevated and the swab is slowly pushed along the inside of the nose until the head of the swab is out of sight, rotating it several times and holding it for 15 seconds to increase the volume of the sample. After sampling, put the swab into the sample extraction tube, the head of the swab needs to be immersed in the extraction solution, while rotating and squeezing, so that the sample is fully infiltrated, and hold for at least 15 seconds. After the extraction of the sample is completed, 3 drops of the extraction solution are placed on the test card and the results are judged after 10-15 minutes. The result reading area is divided into the quality control area and the detection area. If the operation process is error-free, a band will appear in the quality control area, indicating that the test is valid; if the band does not appear in the quality control area, it means that the test is invalid and needs to be reopened. When there is a band in the quality control area and no band in the detection area, the result is negative; when there is a band in the quality control area and a band in the detection area, the result is positive.
