Is there an association between ovarian cysts and lymph nodes?

There is generally no correlation between ovarian cysts and lymph nodes, they are two different concepts, but in case of inflammatory cysts of the ovary caused by acute inflammation may be accompanied by enlargement of the inguinal lymph nodes.
1. Ovarian cysts: refers to the existence of cystic structures inside or on the surface of the ovary, which is a kind of hormone-dependent tumor, mostly seen in women of childbearing age, and its onset is related to endocrine disorders, environment, diet and other factors. Most women will not have abnormal symptoms, but with the enlargement of cysts, symptoms such as lower abdominal discomfort and menstrual abnormalities will occur.
2. Lymph node: It is a kind of immune organ of the body, which has the function of removing bacteria and producing antibodies. When the body is infected with virus or bacteria, it will be manifested as enlarged lymph nodes.
Therefore, as an organ, lymph nodes are not related to ovarian cysts as a pathological product. However, because ovarian cysts are caused by inflammation in some patients, they may result in localized inguinal lymph nodes becoming enlarged.
