Baby rolling over at 2 months is cerebral palsy?

Baby rolling over at two months is usually not cerebral palsy, but if it is accompanied by other discomforts, timely consultation is recommended.

According to the general development of infants, most of them learn to roll over at three months. If a two-month-old baby rolls over but has no other abnormal symptoms, it may also be that the baby’s nutrition is more adequate and the development is earlier, which is a normal phenomenon and there is no need to worry in general.

Children with cerebral palsy usually have symptoms such as uncoordinated sucking and swallowing, inability to lift the head, little voluntary movement and indifferent response. Generally there are signs of developmental delay or developmental disorders, and it will be more difficult for them to roll over. Therefore, it is generally not cerebral palsy for babies to roll over at two months, and if parents are more worried, they can take their babies to the hospital for a checkup to confirm this.

However, if the baby rolls over more frequently, there are restlessness, crying and other manifestations, do not rule out that it is caused by high muscle tone, which may suggest abnormal brain development, it is recommended to consult a doctor for examination in a timely manner, and if necessary, to carry out the appropriate treatment.
