Chronic subjective dizziness, currently called persistent postural-perceptual dizziness, is generally recommended to receive medication as well as other treatments.
1. Medication: Commonly used medications are anti-anxiety medications, such as paroxetine, and anti-depressants, such as sertraline hydrochloride.
2. Other treatments: Vestibular rehabilitation training, which can help relieve and prevent persistent postural-perceptual dizziness; psychotherapy, which requires psychological counseling under the guidance of a psychologist; and balance rehabilitation training, which can be performed under the guidance of a rehabilitation physician.
In addition, persistent postural-perceptual dizziness has a certain degree of danger, and it is recommended that the patient must actively seek treatment to avoid the seriousness of the condition affecting the health.
