Cervical cancer usually bleeds bright red or light

The color of blood coming out from cervical cancer may be bright red or light red.
The typical symptom of cervical cancer is contact vaginal bleeding, usually during sexual intercourse or after gynecological examination. If the process of the lesion invading the blood vessels is not too serious, the blood coming out of the vagina may be mixed with leucorrhoea in it, and it may be light red.
If the tumor cells invade larger blood vessels, the blood may be bright red. If the blood does not flow out in time and remains in the vagina, it may deepen in color due to oxidation by air.
Abnormal vaginal bleeding of any color should be taken seriously, and prompt medical treatment is needed to avoid delays.
