In general, patients with insufficient gastric power can massage the Foot Sanli, Neiguan and Zhongjiao points to enhance gastric power.
1. Foot Sanli Point: It is one of the main points of the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian, located on the lateral side of the lower leg, 3 inches below the calf’s nose, on the line between the calf’s nose and Xiexi. Rubbing and pressing this point can dry and neutralize spleen dampness, generate stomach qi, and improve stomach pain, bloating, indigestion, constipation and other problems.
2. Neiguan point: It is one of the commonly used acupoints of the Pericardium Meridian of the Syncope Yin of the Hand, located on the palm side of the forearm, on the line between Quze and Daling, 2 inches above the transverse stripe of the wrist. Rubbing and pressing this point can calm the heart and tranquilize the mind, regulate qi and relieve pain, and improve symptoms such as palpitations, stomach pain, vomiting and insomnia.
3. Middle Epigastric Acupuncture Point: It is one of the commonly used acupoints on the Ren vein and is located in the upper abdomen of the human body, on the anterior midline, 4 inches above the umbilicus. Rubbing this point can eliminate food stagnation (promote food digestion), harmonize the stomach and strengthen the spleen, and improve symptoms such as gastric pain, bloating, vomiting, acid swallowing (swallowing the acid that rushes upward from the stomach to the mouth and throat), dullness of the stomach (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), and failure of food to dissolve.
It is recommended that patients with gastric dyskinesia go to the hospital in time, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, and do not blindly carry out acupressure on your own, so as not to cause damage to the organism.
