Valganciclovir hydrochloride tablets are known by the trade name Vancevi. It is a special antiviral drug mainly used for primary immunodeficiency diseases, cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection, cytomegalovirus inclusion body disease, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, immune thrombocytopenic purpura. It is indicated for the prophylaxis of cytomegalovirus infection in high-risk solid organ transplant patients, and for the treatment of cytomegalovirus retinitis in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), also known as AIDS.
