When you find out you have novel coronavirus pneumonia, you should immediately call the 120 emergency number, inform the medical staff of your situation, ask them to protect you, and then immediately go to the fever clinic for examination, and the patient should be isolated in a single room until the results are available. If the nucleic acid appears positive, the hospital will report to the higher level of the CDC for retesting of the nucleic acid. If the retest nucleic acid is still positive, a clear diagnosis of novel coronavirus pneumonia can be made, and the patient will be transferred to a designated new coronavirus isolation site for further treatment, provided that it is safe to do so. If the patient has a clear epidemiologic history, i.e., has had close contact with the patient or is from the community where the case was reported, combine this with the patient’s symptoms and other tests. If a single negative nucleic acid test is performed, another nucleic acid test is required after an interval of 24 hours, and depending on the specific closeness of the patient, he or she may be transferred to a designated isolation site for observation, or home isolation. Novel coronavirus pneumonia is very contagious and although it is a category B infectious disease, it is isolated and treated as a category A infectious disease.
