Jade Screen Fung San is a traditional Chinese medicine formula, which is a tonic, consisting of Atractylodes macrocephala, Fenghuang Feng and Astragalus membranaceus. Its effect is to benefit the qi and consolidate the surface to stop sweating (by consolidating the muscle surface to stop sweating). The claim that Yuping Feng San treats 16 diseases is unscientific. This product mainly treats the symptoms of superficial deficiency and spontaneous sweating, manifesting as floating and weak pulse, pale tongue with thin white moss, sweating and evil wind, and whiteness of face (whiteness and lack of luster of the face). It also improves the susceptibility to wind for those who are physically weak. The combination of this formula is characterized by tonifying qi and consolidating the epidermis (consolidating the muscle surface by tonifying qi) as the main medicines, dispelling wind and relieving the epidermis, and astragalus paired with atractylodes, which makes it difficult for external evils to invade internally.
