It is the dried capitulum of the plant chrysanthemum, slightly cold in nature, with the effect of calming the liver and clearing the eyes, subduing swelling and detoxification, and clearing heat and wind. It is suitable for the first signs of wind-warmth, external wind-heat, headache and dizziness, furuncle, swelling and poison, eye redness and swelling and pain.

Hawthorn and chrysanthemum in water is a traditional Chinese medicine tea substitute, which should be consumed according to the instruction of physician, and there is no relevant data proving that hawthorn and chrysanthemum tea can cause fire.
