How to distinguish between diabetes type 1 and type 2

The main differences between type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes are as follows: 1. Patients with type 1 diabetes are generally thin at the onset of the disease, with very typical clinical manifestations such as thirst, excessive drinking, polyuria, polyphagia, and weight loss; whereas patients with type 2 diabetes are generally of medium or fatty build, and often do not have the typical three symptoms of polyphagia. 2. Patients with type 1 diabetes have high blood glucose levels at the time of consultation, usually above 15-20 mmol/L, and often have combined ketosis or ketoacidosis. -The most critical thing is that type 1 diabetic patients with islet function, suggesting very low insulin levels; type 2 diabetic patients with islet function suggesting high insulin levels, diagnosing insulin resistance or relative insulin secretion. Inadequate, not as obvious as the lack of insulin in type 1 diabetes.
