How to relieve back discomfort

Possible causes of back discomfort include kidney stones, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar muscle strain, etc. Physiotherapy, medication and surgery can be used to relieve symptoms.
1. Kidney stones: Stones formed in the kidneys can cause back pain and other uncomfortable symptoms. If the pain symptoms are obvious, oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as diclofenac sodium and indomethacin, can be taken to help relieve the pain symptoms. If necessary, surgical treatment such as extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy can be taken to relieve the symptoms.
2. Lumbar disc herniation: bed rest should be taken. When going down to the ground appropriately, you can wear a waist cuff. Physical therapy such as traction therapy, massage, microwave therapy, magnetic therapy and infrared therapy can be used to help improve the symptoms. If the pain symptoms are obvious, oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as celecoxib, meloxicam, ibuprofen and so on, are conducive to anti-inflammatory and pain relief.
3. Lumbar muscle strain: avoid sitting and standing for a long time, use the correct posture to carry heavy objects. If necessary, wear a lumbar protector. If the pain is severe, oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as celecoxib, etoricoxib, etc., is conducive to anti-inflammatory and pain relief.
All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication. If the symptoms of lumbar discomfort are not relieved, you should go to the regular hospital for consultation.
