The basic principle of PET-CT is to use PET and CT combined imaging, by introducing radionuclides for imaging and then using CT anatomical structures for joint diagnosis. PET-CT is mainly used in the diagnosis of tumors, neurological and cardiovascular diseases and myocardial metabolism. It is more often used in clinical applications such as tumor diagnosis and treatment, or the replacement of radiotherapy target areas and some high-end medical examinations.
