How to get hair in your eyes

When hair enters the eye, do not rub the eye vigorously so that the hair does not get stuck in the bulbar conjunctiva or under the bulbar conjunctiva and cause more serious damage. When hair enters the eye, you should promptly visit a regular eye care provider to determine the location of the hair and treat it accordingly. If it is located on the surface of the lid conjunctiva or bulbar conjunctiva, it can be gently wiped with a cotton swab. If the hair is lodged in the bulbar conjunctiva or even under the bulbar conjunctiva, it needs to be carefully removed with a needle under a slit-lamp microscope while epi-anesthetic is ordered, and antibiotic medication, such as levofloxacin eye drops, should be given after removal to prevent eye infection four times a day, one drop each time.
