Novel coronavirus can be transmitted through feces?

Rumor identification: Further research is needed to determine whether the novel coronavirus is transmitted through feces. Rumor resolution: 1. The feces of patients with confirmed New Coronavirus pneumonia tested positive for new coronavirus nucleic acid, but it is not known if there is live virus in the feces. This test suggests a possible new route of transmission of the new coronavirus, but further research is needed to determine whether it can be transmitted through feces and cause human-to-human transmission. 2. The possibility of fecal-oral transmission of neocoronavirus, as the virus has been found in feces, should be taken seriously enough. There are various forms of fecal-oral transmission, such as feces on hands or clothing, failure to wash hands after defecation or failure to wash clothing in a timely manner, and possible infection through the respiratory tract and conjunctiva of the eyes. Special Note: During the Newcastle Pneumonia epidemic, try to choose a clean toilet seat when using public toilets, and choose a squatting toilet seat to reduce direct contact. If public toilets only have seated toilets, use disinfectant paper towels to wipe the toilet ring for disinfection and wash your hands properly after defecating. Avoid contact with public objects and direct hand contact with mouth, nose and eyes. After returning home from a public place, before meals, and after pooping, you should wash your hands with hand sanitizer or soap flowing water, and you can also use alcohol-containing no-rinse hand sanitizer.
