According to the theory of Chinese medicine, the human body’s hands, feet, face, tongue, eyes, liver, kidneys, intestines and other organs have corresponding reflex zones in the ears, called ear reflex zones. 1. Reflex zones of the limbs: the outermost layer of the ear is called the earwheel, and the prominent inner layer is called the opposite earwheel. Above the middle of the opposite earwheel is the hip reflex zone, and then up is the hip, knee, ankle joint reflex zone, flat against the sciatic nerve reflex zone. The depression in the middle of the earwheel and the opposite earwheel is the ear socket, and the shoulders, elbows and wrists are from the bottom to the top. 2. Reflex zones of the digestive tract: along the earwheel from bottom to top for the stomach, duodenum, small intestine, cecum, colon, anal reflex zones, esophageal reflex zones in the earwheel and auricular cavity at the confluence. 3. Urinary system and liver, gallbladder and spleen: along the opposite ear chakra from bottom to top are spleen, kidney, bladder, ureter, and in the middle of the auricular boat is liver and gallbladder. 4. Heart and lung reflex zones: the auricular cavity is the thoracic reflex zone, with the heart below and the lungs above. 5. Head and face reflex zones: the lowermost part of the earlobe is the reflex zone of the tonsils, and the face of the earlobe corresponds to the reflex zones of the head and face, such as the teeth, the upper jaw, the lower jaw, and the eyes.
