Soybean-sized nodules felt under the armpits are most likely to be caused by enlarged lymph nodes and sebaceous cysts, lipomas or fibromas.
1. Enlarged lymph nodes: usually due to inflammation, tumor metastasis caused by abnormal growth of lymph nodes. Lymphadenitis due to inflammation manifests as fever, pain and other symptoms, and can be treated with antibiotics such as amoxicillin and cefixime. Lymph node enlargement caused by tumor, hard texture, no obvious tenderness, poor mobility, must be puncture biopsy, clear diagnosis and then be dealt with.
2. Sebaceous cysts: generally due to sebaceous gland duct obstruction, sebaceous gland secretion in the hair follicle accumulation and formation, manifested as soybean-sized nodules in the skin. Drug treatment is ineffective, and surgical excision is needed.
3. Lipoma or fibroma: benign tumors under the skin, slow growth, no obvious pain. Ineffective drug treatment, surgical excision is required.
The first thing you need to do is to determine the cause of the disease, follow the doctor’s advice for treatment, and apply the medication under the guidance of the doctor.
