The left and right pulses refer to the pulse of the left hand and the pulse of the right hand. In the vast majority of literature as well as clinical applications, the three pulse positions of the left hand pulse, inch, guan and ulnar, are used to determine the qi and blood flow of the three internal organs of the human body, heart, liver and kidney, respectively, or the functional state of the three internal organs, and the right pulse is used to represent the functional state and qi and blood flow of the lung, spleen and vital organs of the human body. Different doctrines may differ as to how the left and right veins are determined, but in most cases the above criteria are used as the common clinical method.
