How long does it take for a tibial plateau fracture to heal with conservative treatment

Conservative treatment of tibial plateau fracture requires more than three months to recover. First of all, CT and 3D reconstruction of the knee joint should be completed to accurately determine the type of fracture and whether there are obvious steps on the joint surface. Secondly, the peripheral circulation of the limb should be closely observed. During the period of cast fixation, the muscles of the lower limb can be contracted and leg lifts can be trained. If the fracture line disappears, the fracture is completely healed and normal weight bearing is possible. If the fracture line is not completely gone, avoid full weight bearing.
