The herbal formulas for dispelling dampness usually include Ling Gui Jiu Gan Tang, Ping Yu San and Wu Ling San, but they need to be taken according to the doctor’s instructions.
1. Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang: Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang is mainly composed of Atractylodes macrocephala, Cinnamomum cassia, Poria, Glycyrrhiza glabra and other herbs. It is effective in strengthening the spleen, inducing dampness, warming the Yang and resolving drinks (promoting water metabolism by warming the Yang energy in the body). It can regulate phlegm, chest tightness and shortness of breath caused by phlegm-drink (pathological product of impaired metabolism of water and fluid) in deficiency of middle Yang.
2. Flat Stomach Powder: Flat Stomach Powder is mainly composed of Chenpi, Houpu, Cangzhu, licorice and other herbs. It has the effect of promoting qi and harmonizing the stomach, drying dampness and transporting the spleen. It can regulate nausea and abdominal distension caused by stagnation of dampness in the spleen and stomach (stagnation of dampness in the spleen and stomach). Note that this formula is hard, warm and dry, so it should not be used by people with deficiency of yin and stagnation of qi, or weakness of the spleen and stomach.
3. Wu Ling San: mainly composed of poria, ze diarrhea, poria and other herbs. It has the effect of inducing diuresis and seepage of dampness (promoting the operation of water to get rid of dampness), and warming yang and transforming qi (warming the yang qi in the body). It can be used to regulate conditions such as dysuria (unsmooth urination) and edema caused by internal retention of water-dampness (water-dampness stays in the body).
When using the above herbal formula to get rid of dampness, you need to use the medication under the doctor’s diagnosis and treatment to ensure the safety of the medication, and do not use the medication on your own, so as not to make mistakes in your condition.
