Theoretically, the indications for intervertebral foramenoscopy are narrow, and patient selection must be rigorous, or it may be ineffective or cause unnecessary damage. Contraindications are as follows: 1. Multi-segment disc herniation. 2, Spinal instability. 3, Centralized lumbar spinal stenosis. 4, Spinal tumors, tuberculosis or nerve root lesions. If we still need minimally invasive treatment in these cases, we should consider small incision surgery or microscope-assisted small incision surgery or discoscopic minimally invasive surgery.
