The efficacy of Yupingfeng San is to benefit qi and consolidate the epidermis to stop sweating (by consolidating the epidermis to stop sweating), the main treatment of epidermal deficiency spontaneous sweating (due to the epidermis is weak and frequent natural sweating), the deficiency of the couper’s not solid (often refers to the skin can not consolidate the sweat, the surface of the body sweating abnormally) easy to feel the wind, etc., contraindications are not yet clear.
Jade Ping Feng San is composed of Astragalus, Fenghuang, Atractylodes Macrocephala. In the formula, Astragalus can stabilize the surface and stop sweating, and replenish the qi of the spleen and lungs; Atractylodes Macrocephala helps Astragalus to strengthen the qi and stabilize the surface; and Fenghuang stabilizes the surface without harming the positive. The combination of all the medicines together plays the effect of benefiting qi, consolidating the exterior and stopping sweating.
It can be used in treating sweating from deficiency of the surface, 晄white color, sweating and evil wind, with pale tongue, thin white moss and floating pulse; it can also be used in treating deficiency of the coupling between the skin and the skin, which is easily susceptible to wind.
The contraindications and adverse reactions of Yu Ping Feng San are not clear. Note that this formula should not be used in cases of external spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by sweating with slight movement) or night sweating due to yin deficiency (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, sweating stops after waking up).
Yupingfeng San should be applied under the guidance of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner’s diagnosis, and should not be used on its own to avoid adverse consequences.
