How to treat tendinitis in the left hand

Tenosynovitis of the left hand, two main types of tenosynovitis are included here, one is stenosing tenosynovitis of the radial tuberosity and the other is tenosynovitis of the flexor tendons of the fingers. In the early stages of treatment, both are equally suitable for immobilization of the wrist, which can be treated with physiotherapy, heat, herbal fumigation or analgesic treatment with NSAIDs. In the later stages, closed treatment can be used, i.e., the use of trimethoprim plus lidocaine or prednisolone acetate plus lidocaine, from the distal or proximal end of the tendon sheath into the sheath tube for injection of drugs, once a week, 2-3 times for a course of treatment. Additionally, the option of needle-knife release can be chosen, where needle-knife release is given in the area of the tendon sheath stenosis. Finally, there is the option of surgical treatment, in this case fibrosynovectomy. Under local anesthesia, a longitudinal incision of 3cm in length is made at the tendon sheath node, the radial nerve needs to be located and protected, the thickened fibrous sheath tube is removed, the bony fibrous tube is left open, and the adherent tissues are separated and removed to achieve cure of tenosynovitis. This is the mainstay of treatment for left hand tenosynovitis.
