Anterior Cruciate Ligament Rehabilitation

Anterior cruciate ligament rehabilitation training generally refers to postoperative rehabilitation after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, which varies according to different periods of time, and mainly includes muscle strength training of the knee joint, joint mobility training, proprioceptive training and so on. 1. Early stage of rehabilitation: the affected knee joint should be fixed by adjusting the support to 0°, and then straight leg lifting training should be carried out to prevent muscle atrophy; with the help of the therapist, the leg should be actively flexed and extended from 0° to 90°, and patellar loosening manipulation should be carried out. Gradually adjust the support to 0°, and walk for a short period of time with the help of crutches. 2. Mid-rehabilitation: adjust the support to 0°~50° and gradually increase the weight-bearing and range of motion of the lower limbs, such as static squatting, going up the steps, removing the crutches for walking training. Increase the resistance during the straight leg raising training, and increase the strength around the hip and ankle joints. Position sense and balance training can be gradually increased. 3. Late stage of rehabilitation: Remove the support, start the step down training and static squatting training. Anti interference balance training and joint control, backward walking training. 14 weeks later, running, down steps and other activities, until the recovery of normal motor function. The patient should push the patella during training and apply ice for 20 minutes after each training session. Anterior cruciate ligament rehabilitation training needs to be integrated under the guidance of the doctor after the rehabilitation training, so as not to aggravate the discomfort and cause secondary injury.
