How to correct a foot that walks inward

Hallux valgus (irregular medical term: walking with the foot tilted inward) can usually be corrected by hallux valgus exercises, wearing a brace, or surgery.
1. Exercise for pronation: Mild pronation can be corrected by pronation exercise when there is no obvious pain or abnormal gait. Doing some daily valgus movements makes the lateral ankle muscles more developed and balances the muscle strength on both sides, which can correct the inversion of the foot.
2. Wearing braces: If the patient is young and still developing, he can wear orthopedic shoes and orthopedic braces to correct it, and with the development of his bones, the inversion of the foot can return to normal slowly.
3. Corrective Surgery: If adults have pronation of the foot, the development of their bones has been perfected, and the efficacy of wearing braces is relatively poor, it is recommended to improve this situation through surgery.
If the walking foot is tilted inward, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to get a clear diagnosis and standardized treatment, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
