Patients with suspicious symptoms generally need to be isolated at home for observation, during which the following operations are required: 1. The person with suspicious symptoms needs to live alone in a well-ventilated room, and his/her family members should live in different rooms, and the shared space (e.g., kitchen, bathroom) needs to be well ventilated; 2. It is better to choose a family member in good health without underlying diseases to take care of the patient regularly; 3. When family members come into contact with the person with suspected symptoms, they should wear medical surgical masks as required and maintain hand hygiene at all times, while avoiding direct contact with his/her bodily secretions; 4. Discarded items used by the person with suspected symptoms should be placed in a garbage bag specially designed for the patient’s room, and labeled as a contaminant before being thrown away; 5. When the person with suspected symptoms suffers from breath-holding, has a high fever of more than 39℃, or has diarrhea, etc., he/she should seek medical attention immediately. Source: Dr. Yurai
