Clinical manifestations of airway spasm

Airway spasms can present with coughing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing, and wheezing sounds can be heard in the larynx and lungs on physical examination. Common causes of airway spasms are allergies, or the presence of an airway disease such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease itself. The trachea is mainly composed of smooth muscle. When induced by some factors, the smooth muscle of the trachea experiences strong contraction, leading to narrowing of the trachea, restriction of airflow, and the symptom of not being able to get up for air, such as coughing due to irritation of the airway when the trachea is obstructed by various causes. If you have the above symptoms or are diagnosed with airway spasm, it is recommended that you go to the hospital in time to improve the examination and under the guidance of the doctor for standardized treatment.
