Striated blood flow signals in the breast are an abundance of blood flow signals in the breast tissue, usually shown on ultrasound, and may be normal or there may be a lesion or factor that makes the blood flow abundant. Normal breast tissue is supplied with blood flow and is generally not a problem. However, one should be alert to the presence of a lump in the breast. If there is a streak of blood flow signal in the lump, indicating that the blood supply of the lump is rich and the possibility of a malignant tumor is high, then further examination should be done to clarify the nature of the lump. Striated blood flow signals in the breast should be further examined to rule out risk factors (e.g., possibility of malignancy), and consultation with a specialist is recommended for evaluation and advice in this regard.
