What are the medicinal properties of neem fruit?

Neem fruit generally refers to the dried, ripe fruit of the neem plant of the neem family, known in Chinese medicine as neem seed. Neem seeds have the medicinal properties of easing the liver, moving qi and relieving pain (relieving pain by regulating the body’s qi), and repelling insects. Neem seed, a bitter, cold-tasting Chinese herb, has a small toxicity. It is used clinically for treating epigastric (abdominal) pain, abdominal pain from worms, hernia pain (hernia pain), ringworm, frostbite, and so on. Neem seeds contain toxic ingredients and should not be taken in excess or for a long period of time. Excessive internal consumption can lead to adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting. Neem seed is forbidden to be taken by those who have a weak and cold spleen and stomach (θ„Ύθƒƒθ™šε―’). The use of neem seeds to treat diseases, should be under the guidance of a doctor to rationalize the use of medication, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
